Cricket Betting at baji bit — Bet on Every Format from T20 to Test
Bet across different markets on BPL, IPL and international matches. Follow live odds while the match is on and choose a betting approach that suits you.
Cricket's three formats and what each tournament offers
Each cricket format has its own pace and character. T20 is the fastest — over in a few hours, with something happening on nearly every ball. Tournaments like BPL and IPL are played in T20 format, and they are especially popular with fans in Bangladesh.
ODI, or one-day cricket, is played over fifty overs. It involves more tactical depth — batting partnerships, powerplay use and mid-innings pace all shift the betting odds. ICC World Cups and bilateral series are played in ODI format.
Test cricket is a five-day contest. Pitch behaviour, weather and a batsman's form all matter here. Long-term betting markets such as match winner or series winner get particular attention in Tests.
At baji bit, the major competitions across all three formats — BPL, IPL, T20 World Cup and international series — are available in one place.
Football and other sports betting
Beyond cricket, football also has a strong presence on baji bit. A football match has three possible outcomes — team A wins, team B wins or a draw — which makes it different from cricket. In a limited-overs cricket match there is no draw, so the market has only two options: team A or team B.
Football has markets like half-time/full-time result, Asian handicap and corner count that do not exist in cricket. On the other hand, cricket-specific markets such as toss prediction or top wicket-taker do not apply to football. Understanding how each sport works makes betting more enjoyable.
Tennis, basketball and other international sports markets are also available on baji bit. That said, cricket remains the first choice for bettors in Bangladesh.
Cricket vs Football
- No draw in cricket (T20/ODI) — two-sided market
- Football has three outcomes — betting odds are structured differently
- Wickets and overs shift real-time odds in cricket
- In football, odds move quickly after a goal
Popular betting markets in cricket and how they work
baji bit offers a range of cricket betting markets to choose from. Below is a brief explanation of seven common markets.
Match Winner
Simplest marketYou bet on which of the two teams will win — team A or team B. There is no draw option in T20 or ODI.
Toss Prediction
Standalone marketThis has nothing to do with the match result — you are only betting on which team wins the toss. Odds are usually roughly equal on both sides.
Top Batsman
Individual performanceYou pick which player in a team will score the most runs. Pitch type and batting order are particularly relevant here.
Total Runs Over/Under
ScorelineYou bet on whether total runs scored will be above or below a set number — without having to pick a winner.
Top Wicket-Taker
Bowling marketYou pick which bowler in a team will take the most wickets. Whether the pitch favours spin or pace plays a big role here.
Multi Bet
Multiple marketsMultiple selections are combined into a single bet. For example: three different selections across three separate matches — all of them must be correct to win.
Handicap and Run Line: A stronger team is given a virtual run deficit to level the contest — the weaker team gets a head start. In over/under markets, a set run or wicket line is used as the reference, and the correct outcome is only confirmed once the match is over.
Decimal, fractional and American odds — three formats
Betting sites can display the same price in three different ways. baji bit generally uses decimal format, but knowing all three is useful if you ever use other sites.
| Format | Team A (price) | Team B (price) | How to read it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 2.25 | 1.50 | Multiply by stake to get total return including stake |
| Fractional | 5/4 | 1/2 | Profit ÷ stake |
| American | +125 | -200 | + means profit on a ৳100 bet; − means how much you stake to profit ৳100 |
Worked example 1 — betting on team A to win
Say team A's odds to win are 2.25 (decimal) = 5/4 (fractional) = +125 (American). Stake: ৳200.
- If team A wins: ৳200 × 2.25 = ৳450 total (৳250 profit + ৳200 stake returned)
- If team A loses: the full ৳200 is gone.
Worked example 2 — favourite team B
Team B's odds are 1.50 (decimal) = 1/2 (fractional) = -200 (American — you stake ৳200 to profit ৳100). A ৳200 stake returns ৳300 if team B wins (৳100 profit + ৳200 stake).
Minus odds always mean the favourite — a higher chance of winning means lower odds.
Multi bet example
Three separate selections — decimal odds of 1.60, 1.70 and 1.80.
Combined odds: 1.60 × 1.70 × 1.80 = 4.90 (approx.)
A ৳100 stake returns ৳490 if all three selections are correct. If any one is wrong, the full ৳100 is lost.
In-play betting — odds shift when a wicket falls
Live or in-play betting is the option to place bets after a match has started. In cricket this is particularly engaging, because market prices move quickly after each wicket or big six.
Say the first team has batted and set a target of 180 runs in 20 overs. The second team is now chasing — if 3 wickets fall in the powerplay, the odds on the second team winning will lengthen (their situation has become harder). Conversely, if the second team reaches 100 runs off 10 overs without losing a wicket, their odds to win will shorten.
Live betting in Test matches is more complex — session-by-session play, pitch deterioration, the possibility of a draw and fading light all factor into the odds. On baji bit, live betting odds update within seconds, so stay focused on the screen before making a decision.

A few practical tips to enjoy betting
Cricket betting is a form of entertainment — it is better to treat it as something that goes alongside a sport you enjoy rather than as a source of income. baji bit encourages following the responsible gaming guidelines.
-
Start with one format: T20 is the fastest and the results are easy to follow. Focusing on one format first helps you understand the markets better.
-
Build knowledge in one market: Start with the match winner market. It is straightforward and the outcome is easy to interpret.
-
Set a budget: Do not bet more than you can afford to lose. Before each betting session, decide on a maximum amount and stick to it.
-
Do not rush in live betting: Odds move quickly, but take a moment to read the situation before placing a bet.
-
Keep multi bet selections low: Adding too many selections at once reduces the chance of all of them being correct. Two or three selections is generally more manageable.
